The issue is in any of the belt diagrams it shows an idler pulley in that drive system but my car doesn't have one at all (not even a place for one) So the belt I have is obviously to big (probably has 4-5"s of slack even when under "tension" Did they change something here over the years and delete that pulley or was it added for something else later on? It doesn't want to accelerate, it won't even rev higher than 2k rpms, and won't climb higher than 30 miles per hour. After checking codes, it had a MAF sensor code so I installed a new one.
